Lindsay Davenport offers up home court as summer lease
Tennis champ Lindsay Davenport has put her home in Laguna Beach up for lease at $8,000 a month.
Found within the guard-gated community of Emerald Bay, the home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 2,134 square feet of living space. The summer rental is fully furnished, the listing notes.
Outdoors, landscaped grounds include a large expanse of grass and an in-ground spa.
Community amenities include a half-mile private beach, a swimming pool, six championship tennis courts, three volleyball courts and a park.
Davenport purchased the home in 2000 for $1.305 million, records show. She owns other property in the area.
Harold Noriega of HOM Sotheby’s International Realty is the listing agent, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
Davenport, 38, is a former Women’s Tennis Assn. No. 1-ranked singles player. In addition to her six Grand Slam titles, the Palos Verdes native won a gold medal in the women’s singles event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. She currently coaches tennis player Madison Keys.
