Year-round free trolley service starts March 6

Laguna Beach will begin free, year-round trolley service on Fridays and weekends beginning March 6.

The trolleys will run every 20 minutes between 4 and 11 p.m. Fridays; 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. Saturdays; and 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sundays.

The route will run along Pacific Coast Highway from Mission Hospital in South Laguna to Cajon Street in the northern part of the city. Free parking will be offered at Mission Hospital every Friday after 5 p.m. and all day Saturdays and Sundays.

On March 6, the marketing association Visit Laguna Beach will enable the Trolley Tracker found on the Laguna Beach Travel Info app. It shows, in real time, when a trolley will reach its next stop.
