The Tibetan monks of Loseling Thukhang Monastery in Southern India will be offering the Lama Chopa Buddhist Tantric Celebration for World Peace at 7 p.m. Monday, at the Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s. The ritual, written by the First Panchen Lama, is designed to first arouse one’s meditative mind before invoking the forces of goodness, concluding with a dedication to world peace.

The monks will also be participating in Sunday’s 10 a.m. worship service dedicated to world peace. All attending will be given the opportunity to create their own personal prayer flags. For more information, call Pam Wicks at (949) 573-7104 or the church at (949) 494-8061.
