SATURDAY: Women of all ages are invited to share the joy of being feminine at the first annual Festival of Goddesses from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Bridge Hall, Neighborhood Congregational Church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive. .It will be a day of musical performances, an all-star panel of authors discussing women’s issues, a fashion show, boutiques, a free makeover, silent auction, dancing and gourmet snacks presented by gorgeous male servers. $45 per person. SUNDAY: Learn about the history of the Golden State from Glenna Matthews, resident historian, who will speak at 10:30 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship about her forthcoming book, “The Golden State in the Civil War.” After the service, stay for a sandwich lunch. The $5 donation will provide meals for the homeless. The Fellowship is located at 429 Cypress Dr. All are cordially invited.

Green/Blue Belt Tour
Get outside with a Green Belt/Blue Belt Tour sponsored by La Vida Laguna and Hortense Miller starting at 8:30 a.m. Kayak the kelp beds, visit Seal Rock, then tour the Miller Gardens. The three-hour tour includes lunch and begins at Boat Canyon. Transportation will be provided for those who don’t want to walk. Cost is $125, with a one-time 20% “locals” discount of $99. Seniors Computer Lab
The Susi Q Senior Center’s computer lab is available to all members for use. If you have any computer related questions, stop by and a volunteer will assist.
