FRIDAY: Enjoy a Bowers Museum program titled, “20th Century in Review,” from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. Each decade will be highlighted and discussed, including Teddy Roosevelt, the Panama Canal, the Roaring ‘20s, the Great Depression, Route 66, fashion, the first television program, the hippies, etc. Free.

SUNDAY: The Laguna Beach Woman’s Club hosts its annual Women Artists Spring Boutique at the clubhouse from noon to 5 p.m. Shop for everything from jewelry and art to home items and crafts, all made by local female women artisans. Sales from the event’s silent auction and wine tasting will go to the Women and Families Assistance Center, which supports families in area. The clubhouse is at 286 St. Ann Drive.

Rotary Meeting

Garden Club Hosts Schoniger

Men’s Swim Team

On Film

The Laguna Beach Film Society will screen “Men Who Swim,” a documentary about Sweden’s first all-male synchronized swim team, at 7 p.m. at the Forum Theatre on the Festival of Arts grounds, 650 Laguna Canyon Road. Tickets are $15.

Animal Shelter Fundraiser

Help restore the city’s Animal Shelter at a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tivoli Too! Betty DeGeneres and the Laguna Board of Realtors will co-host the event, featuring champagne tasting and jazz brunch. The George Gilliam Trio with singer Elena Gilliam will entertain. Great Discussions

Great Decisions Discussion Groups meet at the Universalist Unitarian Fellowship, 429 Cypress, Laguna Beach.
