Learn the secrets of Authentic Happiness at a workshop led by Veeder South from 9 a.m. to noon at the Susi Q Senior Center, 380 Third St. South has a PhD in energy and kinetics from UCLA and is the founder of Advanced Awareness Training. The cost is $25 per person or $40 per couple.

Guided Tidepool Walk
Join a Crystal Cove State Park volunteer on a guided tidepool walk to Pelican Point at noon when the tide will fall to a low -0.4 feet. A volunteer will help identify animals. Meet at Pelican Point parking lot No. 2, at the top of the boardwalk near the parking lot. $15 day-use parking fee.

Great Discussions
Join a Great Decisions Discussion Group, sponsored by the Foreign Policy Assn., beginning at 1:30 p.m. or 7 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship at 429 Cypress Drive, Laguna Beach. The discussions provide in-depth knowledge of foreign policy issues and are offered by the League of Women Voters and the Social Action Committee of the UU Fellowship. The Laguna Relief and Resource Coalition’s Citizens Advisory Council on Disaster Preparedness meets the first Tuesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. at the Community Center, 380 Third St. Volunteers discuss and prepare for emergencies, encourage education, promote discussion and recruit volunteers.
