Family Concert

SEEDS Art and Education Inc. hosts a family concert at 6:30 p.m. at the Anneliese School’s Willowbrook Campus, 20062 Laguna Canyon Road, Laguna Beach. Dana Freeman, violinist with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, and Mike Hoffman, principal trombonist of the Pacific Symphony, will perform. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served at this free event. Church Works With East African Partnership

The Clippers group at Laguna Presbyterian Church will host Dr. Colette Cozean, a key leader for the East African Partnership, for an African-style dinner and discussion at 6:30 p.m. at the church’s Tankersley Hall, 415 Forest Ave. Tickets are $15. Book Sale

Candlelight Yoga

SEEDS Art and Education Inc. offers holistic yoga and wellness classes by candlelight from 6 to 7 p.m. every Tuesday. Get rested and relaxed through light stretching, gentle yoga poses and conscious breathing under the glow of candles. A monthly pass is $50; drop-ins are $15. Friends of SEEDS are free. Get Physically Fit

Part two of the Susi Q Senior Center’s healthy living series includes physical therapist Geeta Singh from 1 to 2 p.m. at the center, 380 Third St. She will help seniors establish a safe and effective exercise routine. Free.

‘Learning From John Lautner’

The Friends of Laguna Beach Architecture will present “Learning From John Lautner” at 6:30 p.m. at the Debilzan Fine Art Gallery, 224 Forest Ave. Local architect David Parker will talk about Lautner’s approach to design, which can sometimes push the envelope. Formula For Love

Numerologist Richard King will speak on “Your Love Numbers: Discovering the Secrets of Your Relationships” at 2 p.m. at the Laguna Beach Library, 363 Glenneyre St. There is no cost to attend, but King’s book will be sold for $25.

Spirit of Laguna Awards

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Spirit of Laguna Awards Dinner and installation of its 2012 board of directors from 6 to 9 p.m. at Tivoli Too!, 777 Laguna Canyon Road.

Design Floral Arrangements

Opera Tenor Concert

Stephen Fischman, an opera-trained tenor, will perform a concert of songs and tenor arias at 7 p.m. in Fellowship Hall of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Laguna Beach, 429 Cypress Drive. Music will be sung in English and Italian. Admission is $15.

Concert Season Announced

Folkdance Festival

Dance around the world with live and recorded music at the 42nd annual Laguna Beach Folkdance Festival at Ensign School Gym, 2000 Cliff Drive, Newport Beach. Master teachers Michael Ginsburg and Jerry Duke will lead workshops in dances of the Balkans and Americas. The festival kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3 with a dance party.
