As dry weather and strong winds roll through Northern California, increasing the risk of fires, Pacific Gas & Electric has started to shut off power for many residents.

Use the map below to see where power shut-offs are active or being considered. These areas are approximate. Use PG&E’s lookup to determine if your address may be affected.

PG&E will open several community resource centers to help those affected by the outages. The company aims to restore power to most customers by end of day Thursday.
