Sen. Bernie Sanders won the Nevada caucuses on Saturday in a convincing victory powered by the state's major cities. More than 2,000 meetings were held across the state. Here are results for precincts that have been released so far.
Precinct-level returns are made available by the Nevada Democratic Party. Precinct boundaries were provided by the Voting and Election Science Team. The results show the number of county convention delegates allotted to each candidate. They are earned by candidates based on their share of support in each precinct.
This page does not include the results from a small number of caucuses that took place at casinos on the Las Vegas Strip.
Nevada will send 36 pledged delegates to the Democratic National Convention. Twenty-three of those national delegates will be doled out based on the results from the four congressional districts. The rest — five pledged party leader and elected official (delegates and eight at-large delegates — will be allocated based on the state-wide vote. Only candidates who win 15% or more of the statewide vote will qualify for any of the PLEO or at-large delegates.
