Pet of the Week

Sake is a distinctive-looking fellow, found in March as a stray and thought to be about 2 years old.

His breed background likely includes some chow and golden retriever, akin to the “golden chow” hybrid. Genetically, his soft reddish-brown coat is linked with amber-colored eyes. However, beyond an engaging appearance, Sake displays a well-adjusted temperament.

He would prefer a welcoming household but does not mope around his kennel. Instead, he relishes walks and the human attention these outings involve, such as being pet along the way. He shows interest in other dogs, but is consistently well behaved with no signs of aggression.

His gentle and quiet demeanor belies his physical size of 60 pounds. Healthy, neutered and house-trained —combined with an easy-going personality — Sake has much to offer a caring adopter.

His fees are discounted 25% all week with mention of this announcement. For more information, call (714) 536-8480 or visit ochumanesociety.com.
