Kink Curb 20" BMX Bike
BMX or bicycle motocross was originally developed as a spin off from true motorcycle motocross. It evolved into so much more than just racing. The sport of BMX is an extreme sport no matter which style of riding you choose to do. Dirt racing, jumps, or flatland tricks, tail whips or tabletops, anything related to BMX is going to be over the top and you need a bike that can handle whatever riding style you choose.
With the variety of styles, there is not a one size fits all BMX bike. Certain bikes are built for racing, some for parks, dirt, and some for flatland tricks. There are bikes that will transition nicely to work for one or two styles but you would have a tough time finding a BMX bike that does it all.
Traditionally they are built with a 20-inch wheel set, although there are exceptions to that. BMX bikes have a geometry that isn't like any other style of bike. It is important for you to determine which style of riding you want to do and then look at bikes that are built specifically for that style.
