When it comes to finding the right blender for your needs, there are many options to choose from. From small compact blenders to high-powered, professional-grade models, every blender has its own features and capabilities. To help you find the perfect blender, Bestcovery put popular ones to the test! Below is my honest review of the Beast Blender, including what I liked, what could be improved, and whether or not I’d recommend it.
Disclosure: Bestcovery received a sample of the Beast Blender to review.
What Was Tested
For this review, I tested the Beast Blender, which came with a variety of other pieces. I liked the extra bottle because it’s great for travel and has a large lid to load your smoothie and a smaller one to drink through.
Design
The Beast Blender has an innovative design that makes it really appealing. It has a BPA-Free Tritan™ Blending Vessel that’s 2.5x thicker than most other blenders. The size makes taking your smoothie with you easier because it keeps it cool longer.
I found the design of the blending container interesting. It’s round, while most others choose a different shape. It has rivets coming out in columns to create a ribbed design. This was an intentional choice to add turbulence to the blending process, giving smoother blends overall.
Durability
This blender is a thicker model, so it seems more durable than any other blender I’ve used. I’m sure it will stand the test of time. When it comes to blending, though, the durability is lacking. Many other blenders are tough enough to chop through ingredients without issue, but this one needs you to cut your fruits and vegetables into one-inch pieces. So, instead of just putting a slice of orange in the blender, you need to cut it into about three pieces.
It’s nice that the plastic is durable and extra thick, but it makes it a pretty heavy mug to carry around. If you plan to travel with this mug, you might want to consider its weight and whether it fits comfortably in your hand, especially if you’ll be carrying it for a while.
Functionality
The Beast Blender only comes with one button to blend. It varies through different speeds as it blends, but I’d prefer more options. I also didn’t love that the blender wasn’t strong enough to chop down pieces. Having to cut up all my ingredients before blending is a major deterrent to loving this model. You have to do a lot of the work with this blender, while many other blenders do the work for you.
Noise Level
I liked this blender’s noise level compared to many other blenders I’ve tried. Most blenders come in at nines or tens on a scale of one to ten, while this one was more like a five. I liked that I didn’t have to immediately leave the room or cover my ears when I used it.
The one-button design makes it very easy to use but doesn’t give you many options.
Ease of Use
The one-button design makes it very easy to use but doesn’t give you many options. Its light system also feels a little confusing. With one light, it communicates when the unit is on but not clicked in, when the appliance is ready to blend, when it’s mixing, and when the motor is overloaded, making contents too hot to blend safely. If you own a Beast Blender, you need to put in the work to understand the system.
Cleaning
Most blenders are dishwasher safe, but this one takes a manual labor approach. You have to handwash the base and use the special brush it comes with to clean between the pieces.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- It has an innovative design that’s durable and keeps smoothies cold longer.
- The noise level is low compared to many other blenders.
- The Beast Blender comes with multiple lids and container sizes.
Cons
- It lacks durability in blending tougher ingredients.
- It only has one blending button and lacks options for different blending speeds and modes.
- The extra thickness makes it heavier to carry around.
Final Thoughts
The Beast Blender has a great design, but it can create more work for the user, which isn’t ideal for those of us who have a lot going on. Ultimately, if you want to prepare meals for just you and your partner, this smaller blender might be the right fit for your needs. But if you want to use your blender for multiple purposes, plan to blend regularly, or are on a tight schedule, you may want to consider other options.
