Editor in Chief

Ken Fisher is the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Ars Technica. A veteran of the IT industry with an academic background in language and history, Ken studies the intersection of intellectual property and free speech issues. He is currently writing a book on the formation of online communities and the changing conceptions of property and business stemming from this formation. At present, Ken is on leave from a Ph. D. program at Harvard University, where he has completed two Masters degrees relating to Western philosophy and religion in antiquity.
